club info
We are a non-profit bicycling club founded in Tennessee. Come and join us for family fun on two wheels. We have a full ride calendar from March through October, with many members leading 'off-calendar' rides throughout the year communicating by our message board. In addition to our regular rides, we produce the acclaimed Big Hill Challenge in May. We also have picnics, cookouts, and other gatherings throughout the year.
Below you will find links to our club information.
We Veloteers volunteer for helping the community learn about cycling and cycle safely. We work with the Boy Scouts of American and their bicycle rodeo each year, in addition to lending a hand to the Greenways of Nashville in cleaning the greenways, clearing the Mountain bike trails, and making sure our bike lanes on the roads are maintained.
our advantage
We are the bike club for all categories of riders! Membership has it's privileges as well. Ask any Veloteer why they joined the club; it is more like a family and less like a club.
Our Mission
Promote interest, educate, and encourage fun and safe participation in bicycling of all forms.
- Make regularly scheduled group rides and other cycling events available to cyclists of all abilities.
- Foster fellowship among cyclists and those interested in cycling.
- Encourage and support bicycle safety education by providing related information and services to club members, the community and government officials.
- Advocate, defend, and protect the bicycle as a legal vehicle used for recreation, health, and transportation.
- Represent the interests of cyclists and advance "share the road" values with legislative and administrative groups on proposals relating to matters affecting cycling activities.
- Promote the positive image of cyclists in the community through example.
